Faults Of Inner Rubber Layer


1. The inner rubber layer of the hose is hard and has cracks.

Due to the addition of plasticizer in rubber products, the hose is flexible and plastic. The hose works under high temperature and pressure, and the overheat of the hose will cause the plasticizer to overflow. In addition, when the overheated oil passes through the cylinder, valve or other components in the system, if a large pressure drop is generated, the oil will decompose, resulting rubber layer inside the hose to oxidized and hard. In this case, we should first check whether the working temperature of the hydraulic system is normal, whether the throttle of the valve and the suction channel of the pump are smooth and so on. Replace the hose after eliminating all factors that may cause excessive oil temperature and oil decomposition. If only the inner rubber layer below the hose rupture is hardened and the upper part is kept well, it indicates that excessive compression, bending, or twisting at the hose rupture causes the oil to heat up and accelerate oxidation, resulting in the inner glue becoming hard.

2. The inner rubber layer of the hose is seriously deteriorated and obviously expanded.

The hydraulic oil in the hydraulic system has been used for an extended period of time or there is oxidation deterioration of dirt, the hose is deteriorated by chemical actions, and the broken rubber pieces will be found at the return port. If this phenomenon occurs, the physical and chemical indicators of the hydraulic oil should be checked, the compatibility of the system oil with the rubber material in the hose and the working temperature whether meet the standard.
